Supporting Sort Ball 2026 and making this year's event unforgettable

We're delighted to welcome Landmark Information Group as a sponsor of Sort Ball 2026.

As the UK's leading provider of land and property search data, Landmark supports conveyancers, lenders, surveyors and estate agents with the digital mapping, environmental risk reports and compliance tools that keep property transactions moving with confidence.

Established in 1995 and now part of the Daily Mail General Trust, the company has built one of the largest geographical information databases in Europe, working alongside partners such as Ordnance Survey and the Environment Agency.

Their support of Sort Ball reflects a shared commitment to bringing the property industry together, and we're thrilled to have them on board for a night of celebration.

Landmark Information Group Interview

1. Every great celebration needs great people behind it — who are Landmark Information Group, and what do you do?

Landmark Information Group is a leading provider of data, technology and insight to the UK property market.

We support professionals across the entire property lifecycle — from environmental risk and planning, through to conveyancing and land referencing — helping them make informed decisions with confidence.

Our focus is on delivering trusted data and intelligent solutions that improve efficiency, reduce risk and bring greater transparency to property transactions.

2. "The Roaring Twenties" was a time when the finest parties brought the right people together — why did you choose to be part of Sort Ball 2026?

At its core, the Sort Ball is about bringing the industry together, and that’s something we’re passionate about. Conveyancing is built on collaboration, and events like this create the space for relationships and partnerships to thrive.

We chose to be part of the Sort Ball 2026 because it celebrates the people behind the process. It’s a chance to step away from the day to day, connect with peers and recognise the collective effort that keeps the property market moving.

3. Sort Ball is one of the biggest moments in our calendar. What has been a standout moment for your business this year?

A standout moment for Landmark this year has been becoming a founding member of the Project 28 Charter, a significant industry initiative focused on improving the home moving process.

Being part of this reflects our broader commitment to collaboration and driving meaningful change across the sector.

It’s about working collectively to tackle long-standing challenges and create a more efficient, transparent experience for everyone involved in property transactions.

4. If you could raise a glass to changing one thing about the industry right now, what would it be?

If we could change one thing, it would be the consistency and speed of the end to end conveyancing process.

While there have been great strides in digital transformation, the experience can still vary significantly across the transaction chain.

Greater alignment, standardisation and adoption of digital solutions would make a meaningful difference — improving outcomes not just for professionals, but for the home movers at the heart of it all.

5. In the roaring future of property, what are you chasing?

We’re focused on a future where property transactions are faster, smarter and more connected.

That means continuing to innovate around data accessibility, integration and automation — helping clients work more efficiently while maintaining trust and compliance.

Ultimately, we’re chasing a more seamless property journey, where the right information flows effortlessly between all parties, unlocking better experiences and better outcomes.
