We are the UK's largest independent surveying-only firm. RICS regulated, survey only, and genuinely proud of what we have built. Over 35,000 home moves supported, £42.5 million saved for our customers, and a growing network of brilliant surveyors across England and Wales who care deeply about the people they serve.

This is not just a business to us. It is something we believe in.

2. "The Roaring Twenties" was a time when the finest parties brought the right people together — why did you choose to be part of Sort Ball 2026?

Because the right rooms matter. Sort Ball brings together some of the most influential people in the mortgage and property industry and that is exactly where Home Surveying should be. We are a business built on relationships, reputation and doing things differently.

Being part of an event like this is an opportunity to connect with the people who share that ambition and to show the industry what independent surveying can look like when it is done properly.

3. Sort Ball is one of the biggest moments in our calendar. What has been a standout moment for your business this year?

Being named Best Surveyor Leader at the British Mortgage Awards 2026 for the second consecutive year is something I will carry with me for a long time. But if I am honest, it was not the award itself that meant the most.

It was the judge's feedback. They recognised Home Surveying as a genuinely customer-centric business, built around making the survey experience better, simpler and more valuable for today's homebuyer. That is exactly what we set out to do from day one. Hearing it reflected back at that level, in that room, was a genuinely special moment. And sharing the evening with our operational team made it everything.

4. If you could raise a glass to changing one thing about the industry right now, what would it be?

The people in this industry. We are incredibly lucky to have the team we have, surveyors who genuinely care, who go above and beyond every single day and who take real pride in the work they do for our customers.

But across the industry, brilliant surveyors too often go unrecognised. They work hard, they protect buyers from costly mistakes and they carry enormous responsibility and they deserve more. More recognition, more support and more of a platform to build something of their own.

That is what we are trying to do at Home Surveying. And that is what we would raise a glass to.

5. In the roaring future of property, what are you chasing?

Scale without compromise. We want Home Surveying to be the name every buyer in the country knows and trusts, the obvious choice when they are making the most important financial decision of their life.

We are growing our franchise network, expanding our geographic reach and continuing to raise the standard of what independent surveying looks like. The Cotswolds is our latest chapter. It will not be the last.

6. What does being a Silver Sponsor at Sort Ball 2026 mean to Home Surveying and what legacy do you hope to create within the industry?

It means we are at the table. Home Surveying has been built on the belief that independent surveying deserves a bigger, bolder voice in this industry and being a Silver Sponsor at Sort Ball 2026 is part of that story.

The legacy we want to create is simple. A surveying industry that is built around the consumer, not the institutions. One where surveyors are empowered to build brilliant businesses of their own.
